Michael Forbes, Accomplished artist, designer, and entrepreneur born and raised in Metro Detroit with the ability to draw
and a strong desire to learn and solve problems.


Forbes has had the opportunity to influence a variety of consumer products on the market today including toys, medical devices, sporting goods, apparel, automobiles and more. He received the honor of being listed among Crain's Detroit Business's "40 under 40" Class in 2015 for his cutting edge work at The Henry Ford Innovation Institute in Detroit where he lead the design, development, and licensing of the Henry Ford Model G™ Patient Gown and a proprietary algorithm for planning TMVR procedures (mitral valve surgery) using CAD analysis and 3D printing. In 2016 he was awarded an Edison Award for the design of the Model G and his work has been featured by The New York Times, NPR, Ellen, Washington Post, and others. 

Today, Forbes has moved on from toys, and medical gadgets to pursue an interest in the future of mobility at Hyundai/Kia R&D as their North American Patent and Technology Planner. Forbes lives with his wife (Stephanie) and daughter (Elianna) in Metro Detroit. Mike is available for design and consulting services ranging from research and workshop facilitation, to sketching, graphic design, CAD, brand strategy, intellectual property management, and business development.
