BioVigil

With BIOVIGIL, healthcare workers, patients and families are consistently assured that hand hygiene is performed, resulting in minimization of risk from Hospital Acuired Infections (HAIs).

The decision to move from the original horizontal version of BioVigil’s product (Below); to the new current vertical package design came after BioVigil approached me when they started receiving complaints shortly after launching the product. Users said it was too cumbersome to wear. After some research to understand the problem, a series of sketch sessions, mockups using existing components, and CAD I was able to salvage all of the existing hardware from their generation 1 product to keep costs low while changing the design while preserving the overall look and appearance with impoved functionality. Once a design was agreed on I shared my thoughts for an improved branding strategy which they loved. The Slimmer design has been well received.
