One of my first tasks when I joined The Henry Ford Innovation Institute was designing the "Donor Wall" to honor and memorialize philanthropic gifts received by HFII. Henry Ford's automotive heritage combined with his creation of a world class hospital in 1915 was the sole inspiration. Industrial stainless steel patina frame, modern day silhouette of the man himself, and water jet gears surround blown glass center pieces symbolizing the human nature of healthcare.
